Science. Thursday 23rd

Good morning! How are you? Two days left, come on, we can do this! 💪

We'll start as the previous days, by listening to Rachel and her routine on Thursdays. First, listen to her and write down your answers.

And then check your answers with the second listening.

Going back to science, today we're going to talk about different types of plants. Veremos las plantas sin flores.
(Here you have the worksheet from last day to check your answers. Son respuestas de ejemplo. Algo parecido también está bien.)

Open your Natural Science book on pages 58 and 59 and read them. Then, in your notebook, copy this schema as a summary of that.

Now, in your notebook, do exercise 4 from page 59. You need to write 8 sentences. If you have time, write it also in the Aula Virtual and send it to us. (Hazlo en el cuaderno después de copiar el esquema, y si tienes tiempo, manda el ejercicio 4 también por el aula virtual).

Here you also have a worksheet to review all this. You can print it or do it in your notebook. No nos mandes la ficha hecha, subiremos las respuestas.

Finally, since today is World Book Day, here you have a story about two mice. Story: the town mouse and the country mouse. (Al hacer clic en el enlace salen cuatro cuentos, hay que bajar con el ratón y seleccionar el que ponemos de título). Luego, contesta a estas preguntas en el Aula Virtual:

- What do they eat in the country?
- What do they eat in the town?
- Finish the sentence: "Happy in my home sweet..."

We also leave you and Arts activity about how to make a bookmark.
For this first one, you need a square piece of paper (el del vídeo mide unos 15cm de lado).
La explicación de cómo se hace va del minuto 1 al 2.45 más o menos, lo demás es sobre cómo lo decora. Es sencillo de hacer.

Os dejamos otro modelo. Ambos podéis decorarlos con rotuladores o usando más trozos de papel.

 

Os vamos a pedir que nos mandéis las actividades de Arts, empezando por este marcapáginas. Estas tareas, nos las mandáis al correo electrónico que os indicamos por mensaje en Aula Virtual.
