Tuesday 21st of April. Science


Good morning everyone! Today is Tuesday, which means we have Science!

Today we are going to focus on the life cycle of a flowering plant. But before that, as yesterday, we'll do Rachel's listening about her routines. Listen to her and write the answers on your notebook.


Now, check your answers here:

When you have finished with that, to start with science, we are going to watch a video about seed germination.



Now, open your Natural Science book on page 57 and read it.
Do interactive activity next to exercise 5 (blue icon).

Now you have a reading text activity about pollination. You can print the worksheet and answer the questions there or read the text and write the answers in your notebook.

Finally, on your notebook, draw and write the life cycle of a flowering plant. Words you need to use for it are: seed, sunlight, rain, grow, pollen, fruit, ground. (Puedes hacer el dibujo como quieras, fijándote en el libro, usando la imagen que te dejamos o totalmente distinto, como tú quieras, añadiendo insectos, frutos...lo que necesites. Dibújalo en el cuaderno y escribe el ciclo de vida por el que pasa la planta usando las palabras de antes).
