Today we’re going to talk about Prehistory and History.

But first, we start with Rachel's listening.

El otro día dividimos el tiempo entre Past, Present and Future. Hoy vamos a centrarnos en el pasado, en todo el tiempo que hay hasta el presente. Ese tiempo lo dividimos entre Prehistory y History.

Prehistory es el periodo más largo y más antiguo. Empieza cuando aparecieron los primeros humanos.

History es el siguiente periodo, desde que comenzó la escritura, hasta ahora. Está dividido en 4 periodos, como podéis ver en el siguiente esquema:

Hoy en el cuaderno copiamos lo siguiente (page 74 of our Social Science book):

In history, there are two main periods: Prehistory and History.

Prehistory is the oldest and longest period in the past. It started with the first human beings.

History began when people started to write.
